How to Plan a Company Uniform Order Without Size-List Chaos
Choose the garment, collect sizes from its own chart and keep one final quantity list. Then approve decoration on that exact style.
A uniform order is partly a clothing decision and partly an information-management job. Getting the second part right can prevent a lot of avoidable rework.
Set up the list around the actual model
Choose the style first. Share its size chart and collect each wearer's selection in one place. Record any colour or role variants clearly.
Where staff are unsure, resolve fit questions before finalising totals. A label borrowed from a retail shirt is not a reliable measurement.
Make the artwork approval specific
Show the logo size and position for the selected garment. Check the design against collars, seams and contrasting panels. For embroidery, consider fine detail and the inside finish as well as the view from the front.
One final approver should consolidate design feedback.
Reconcile the order before it leaves your desk
Add up each size and colour, check the grand total and identify the receiving contact. If garments are to be sorted by department or person, agree that packing arrangement.
After delivery, retain the approved list, model reference and artwork together. The next uniform order should begin from a clear record, not from someone's memory of “the blue polo.” You can start comparing styles in the apparel category.
