Hold it as an attendee would
Picture a visitor carrying a phone, a drink and an event bag. Does the fan have a comfortable grip? Can they reach the controls without changing hands? Is there a sensible place to put it when it is switched off?
If the model comes with a stand or strap, confirm that it is included in the quoted order. A photograph can show accessories that need separate clarification.
Read the charging instructions before packing day
Do not guess how long a fan will run from battery capacity alone. Ask for the operating information for that particular model, including the conditions behind any runtime figure.
Decide whether recipients will receive sealed units or units prepared by your team. Follow the supplied instructions and allow time for whatever preparation is agreed. That is easier to organise in advance than beside a busy registration desk.
